October’s Episode:
In our very first episode of the podcast, Georgia and Marina examine the burning of Smyrna in commemoration of it’s 100th anniversary this past September. Joining them is Dr. Evangelia Boubougiatzis Boyer, an author-scholar and past guest speaker at HACCM whose research focuses on the event, as well as Christine Rulli, an HACCM exhibit committee member who provides an account of her family’s lived experience of the Asia Minor Catastrophe.
