HACCM is pleased to announce a series of Greek textile workshops in conjunction with our current exhibit, Follow the Thread: The Fabric of the Hellenic Spirit. There will be three workshops (once a month between January and March) that teach a variety of techniques, skills, and history. No experience is required, and seasoned textile artists are welcome too!
In this session, one of our community members will lead a demonstration and workshop on the technique of needlepoint. Using designs inspired from our current exhibit, you will learn how to create these designs on a coaster to take home! All supplies are included.
Textile Workshop Dates:
- Saturday, February 21 (12 noon – 2 p.m.)
- Project: Needlepoint coaster
The workshop is $20 and will take place at HACCM, located at 3131 Glisan St., Portland, OR 97232.
