Join us for a special coffee hour hosted by the Hellenic-American Cultural Center & Museum to celebrate our official kick off of the “Four Corners of Oregon” oral history project. Our committee is seeking stories of Greek immigrants and Greek Americans accross the state of Oregon to expand our archive of oral histories! We will be traveling around Oregon and SW Washington to collect stories of people and places, to better understand the Greek American experience in Oregon and SW Washington beyond the Portland metro area.
We need your help: Do you have family history in places in Oregon outside of Portland? Do you know of any Greek Americans who live in Oregon outside of Portland who might be willing to participate in this project? Volunteers will be available at the coffee hour to share more about the project and speak with you. Otherwise, please feel free to contact the museum with any information. What’s Your Story?
