Job Description

Position: Executive Director The Hellenic-American Cultural Center & Museum is located at 3131 NE Glisan St., Portland, OR. The Center was created in 2006 by a proud Greek-American Community whose desire is to educate, preserve and celebrate their cultural heritage. It seeks to enrich every member and visitor’s conception of Greek history and present life. Through these main goals, HACCM strives to honor its past while embracing the future. The Center is governed by a hard-working volunteer Board of Directors. A Strategic Plan has been in place from its inception, and now it is time for the Board to engage the professional experience of an Executive Director to collaborate in leading the Center to its continued success and growth.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with & strong ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, QuickBooks, PowerPoint & PastPerfect
  • Experience in Public Relations
Preference May Be Given To:
  • Degree in an appropriate field
  • Experience in museum & cultural center work
  • Experience in planning, developing & managing budgets
  • Knowledge of Social Media
  • Experience in fundraising strategies & donor relations
  • Experience in Hellenic-American Culture
